This past Sunday my wife spoke at our church Life Center in Tacoma, Washington. It was a powerful message on Unconditional Love. The outpouring of response we have heard from family members and friends has been amazing. I am so proud of her and I hope you would tune into this challenging message on understanding love on a new level. The church my family and I attend has been doing a 90 day study on being Revolutionary. This is a word that is not always commonly used, however from this teaching I have uncovered a new meaning and understanding of what it entails.
When we really look at the word revolutionary. We probably overlook one of the most powerful words in the English language. It is the word Love. This word is often used in so many different ways. However, I believe that it is overused which makes it undervalued. We love so many things like food, sports teams, clothing, colors, and experiences. Which allows the word to be less meaningful when it is expressed. To be a rEVOLutionary person, you must understand that love carries such a greater meaning. Jesus shows through the Gospel's that to be rEVOLutionary we must love the person and not the limitations. The reason is that we all have limitations. If we only show love to those without limitations we will never love people, so then being rEVOLutionary to your circumstance will not work. Jesus proved that loving without limitations is something that we can do. It is an obedience, effort and a greater understanding of who you are, which makes you become rEVOLutionary. When we grasp the concept of how Jesus loves us in spite of our limitations, we start to understand the love principle. This is where we become rEVOLutionary to those we encounter. |
